Wooden chain 4

The finished piece: 11.5cm long, 1.5cm wide. I used some 'Briwax' to give it a subtle polished finish.

The next few blog entries document the gradual process of whittling a wooden chain from a single branch.

I used a curved flint stone to take off the bark. To whittle I used a stanley knife, and a No. 11 scalpel blade on a No. 5 handle.
